Dear Friends of Healing Music, Happy almost end of summer! What a fantastic summer it has been!!!!! I hope that you have all enjoyed yourself and loved the beautiful weather! Can you believe how quickly it has gone? Time flies - we must be having fun!!!! I had one of my best summers ever - so many lovely events, so many lovely people! Here is what went on in August.... I offered a Music Meditation with my good friend Mark Daniel in Toronto at Esther Myers Yoga Studio. It was a lovely and peaceful evening... I so love playing these Music Meditations and I can always feel my Angels pouring their Divine Love down upon us as we play.... The August Ottawa trip was so beautiful. First the gathering with my Shakuhachi students - our 'Playday' celebration. I am so happy and grateful and proud of my students. Shakuhachi is very difficult but incredibly rewarding..... The next day we offered our Healing Concert - both events at Camellia House. Thank you Rebecca and Matthew for hosting us again in your beautiful space! And thanks to Ian Hepburn for his lovely harp, Rebecca Cragg for her exquisite live painting, and thank you to my students for their lovely appearance in the concert. Here we are after the concert playing in the lovely Zen Garden. And here is Rebecca creating a beautiful painting while we offered our healing sounds. The two paintings from each half of the evening were raffled off and taken home by lucky audience members. The next day took us all to Remic Rapids to an event entitled Transformations. We had a huge group of Sacred Dancers choreographed by Wendy Morrell of the Sacred Dance Guild. I was the Pied Piper and I led the dancers on a Walking Meditation through the incredible beautiful rock sculptures of John Ceprano. Thanks to Ian and Nancy and my students for their musical accompaniment. It was a gorgeous night!!!! www.sacreddanceguild.org www.jfceprano.com/ The next week I was back in Toronto to play on a Pirate Ship!!!! It was a beautiful Healing Boat Cruise. The Healing Water Ceremony was led by Danielle Lobo and then my music wafted across the waters..... Thanks to Matt from the pirate ship for captaining this lovely healing event! The next day took me to Kensington Market for an event to help promote our MUSIC CAN HEAL palliative care association. I was playing in front of and inside my favourite store, Orbital Arts. Thanks to Talia from our association for helping to arrange and set up the event and thanks Joe and Leo from Orbital Arts! www.musiccanheal.org www.orbitalarts.ca I have also been kept busy this summer with teaching and offering my Healing Sessions and Clearing/Inviting in Light Sessions. http://healingmusic.com/about/index.html JAPAN TRIP I have one 2017 Japan tour fully booked and I am considering offering a second tour the last week of March. COMING UP IN SEPTEMBER I am looking forward to playing in Ottawa at the beautiful Kalyana Shala yoga studio with Mark Daniel on September 10. The details are listed at the end of the newsletter. September 18 takes me to the Royal Conservatory of Music for another MUSIC CAN HEAL EVENT. 11:00 to noon. I will be playing at GRAIL SPRINGS  the weekend of September 23, 24, 25. It is always a joy and a pleasure to play at this serene and peaceful retreat centre. NEW - Meditation Classes I am now offering Meditation Classes for adults and children. These are private sessions. 30 minutes for children and 60 minutes for adults.
